
Module: Entrepreneurship - From Idea to Market Launch
The focus of the module deepens the development process of business startups, from entrepreneurial opportunities to market establishment.
The practice- and research-oriented module enables students to take on the roles of founding teams and startup investors, developing real business ideas or evaluating them from an investor’s perspective.
Objectives: Students should be empowered to recognize or create entrepreneurial opportunities, evaluate them, and implement them.
Career Prospects: Preparation for founding their own company or career paths in startups, medium-sized businesses, or startup-related service companies.
Module comprises of 9 Sessions of ca. 1.5 hrs per session
Participants will learn how to;
- discover business opportunities
- plan a business
- register and protect a business concept
- market a business
- manage a business
- apply for grants
Participants will get a certificate on Entrepreneurship after attending all lessons and submitting a draft for a business plan (which will be evaluated by lecturers).
We also offer a start-up support of;
- 5.000.000 naira – 1st prize
- 2.500.000 naira – 2nd prize
- 1.250.000 naira – 3rd prize
Criteria for the assessment of your business plan and the awards;
- We look at the level of creativity and innovativeness of your plan
- We assess the unassummingness and yet availability of the materials and labour involved.
- We look at the marketability of your product/service.
